On May 14, 2009 Decker Truck Line, Inc. was awarded their 13^th Spirit of Excellence Award from Hormel Foods.

Decker Truck Line, Inc was one of 69 suppliers that were awarded this prestigious award for their role in Hormel Foods continuous improvement process during the past year. These suppliers are from a variety of service areas, including purchasing, transportation, provisions, producers, contractors, co-packers and local plant suppliers.

Decker Truck Line, Inc. & Joe O'Brion awarded The Partriotic Employer Award

On April 9, 2009, Joe O’Brion and Decker Truck Line, Inc were awarded with The Partriotic Employer Award from The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve. Our employee, Jacob Rozales who works under Joe in the washbay, nominated Joe & Decker Truck Line, Inc for this award.

Decker Truck Line, Inc & Drivers Receive Recognition on Safety efforts

Decker Truck Line, Inc. received recognition at the Iowa Motor Truck Association’s “Best of the Best” awards luncheon held September 17th, 2008 in Des Moines, IA at the Iowa Motor Truck Association’s Annual Management Conference.

Decker Truck Line, Inc. received the 2008 IMTA Fleet Safety Award for Truckload Carrier over 15 million miles. Decker Truck Line, Inc also received the 2008 IMTA Grand Trophy-Iowa Fleet Safety. Decker was selected from 23 first place division winners. Jim Wilkins, Vice-President of Safety and Human Resources, accepted these awards on behalf of the truck line.

Decker Team Earns Honors at State Competition

AMES-A team of eight drivers represented Decker Truck Line, Inc. of Fort Dodge at the 2007 Iowa Truck Driving Championships held June 22nd and 23rd at the Iowa State Center in Ames.
           
The members of the Decker Team were: Steve Alliger, Paton, IA; Dave Bush, Fort Dodge, IA; Dean Filmer, Lake City, IA; Josh Filmer, Lake City, IA; Chad Hicks, Gowrie, IA; Mark Hullerman, Mt. Hope, WI; Greg Thede, Badger, IA; Bob Wolvers, Hampton, IA.

Hormel Presents “Spirit of Excellence” Award to Decker Truck Line, Inc.

Hormel Foods Corporation has selected 51 of its suppliers to receive awards for providing quality service and/or products to the multinational marketer of consumer-branded meat and food products. Hormel presented Decker Truck Line, Inc. a Spirit of Excellence award on June 4, 2007.

Each of the 51 firms from across the Unites States will be presented a “Spirit of Excellence” quality award for taking an active role in the Hormel Foods quality improvement process during 2006.
